Unify Pilates Academy
Applied Anatomy Certification

See the body. Understand it. Teach it. The applied anatomy course built for people who teach movement.

The Applied Anatomy Course teaches you to look at a body moving and know what's happening underneath — 30 live training hours on what the bones are doing, which muscles are working and why, which tissues are under load, and what to change for the person in front of you. For instructors, trainers and health professionals who want the why behind every cue, this is where it starts.

"Not anatomy for an exam. Anatomy for the body in front of you."

THE UNIFY PILATES ACADEMY DIFFERENCE

Applied Anatomy teaches you to look at a body moving and know what's happening underneath.

The Four Foundations — Breathe, Stack, Frame and Ground — give you one clear way of seeing every body.

Bone rhythm. If the bones are in the right place, the muscles will work. This course shows you why.

Evidence you can trust. Where research is strong, we say so. Where popular ideas go further than the science, we say that too.

Two layers in one course. A clear foundation for every learner, and Deep Dives for those who want the research and the mechanism.

Your Training Journey

30 HOURS

  • 01 — Foundations (Weekend 1). The language of the body, how tissue adapts to load, and how muscles, levers and springs produce movement. You build the framework everything else hangs on.

  • 02 — Control and connection (Weekend 2). The nervous system and motor control, fascia, the thorax and breath. You learn why bodies move the way they do — and what changes them.

  • 03 — Region by region (Weekends 2–3). Pelvis, spine and hip; shoulder, neck and balance; the lower limb. Guided self-palpation and partner work in breakout rooms tie each region to what you can see and feel.

  • 04 — Daily knowledge checks. A short check after each session locks in what you learned before you move on.

  • 05 — Capstone and exam (Weekend 3). You analyze a classmate's movement live on camera using the eight-step method, then complete an open-book online written exam.
